Blue Frontier gives people who care about the Ocean the tools needed to protect their communities, both
human and wild.
For two decades Blue Frontier has worked to bring the economic, environmental, recreational, and
spiritual benefits of healthy and abundant seas to the public. We’ve done this through books, articles,
videos and media trainings, a decade of Ocean Awards, national and regional Blue Vision Summits and
citizen lobbies. We’ve sponsored women ocean and coastal explorers and youth events, the first global
‘March for the Ocean,’ an ongoing fight to protect an endangered headland in a low-income community of
color, an Ocean Climate Action Plan and other campaigns that can positively impact law, culture, and
policy from sea to shining sea.
