Saving Ocean Wildlife

Saving Ocean Wildlife has a mission to create ocean partnerships to protect wildlife. Saving Ocean Wildlife is the resource for up-to-date information on ocean wildlife, providing you with tools and opportunities to actively engage with, and support healthy marine life. Our primary goal is to help ocean animals in distress. We are the bridge between the community that is likely to spot injured or entangled animals, and the agency responsible for response. By conducting outreach to the public — particularly, boaters and beach-goers, we educate about the ways people can quickly and efficiently report on animals in danger to get them the help they need.

“Ocean animals are in danger. They face serious threats to their health and ocean habitat, such as pollution, ship strikes, and entanglement. It is vital that we connect the community to critical issues facing marine wildlife, and provide tools for reporting valuable information on live, injured, and dead marine animals in California.”
